Teenager drowns to death in Kokernag | KNO

Srinagar, March 30 (KNO) : A 14-year-old boy died on Saturday after he drowned in water at Kandiwara area of Kokernag. As per initial reports, at about 4:30 PM one teenager namely Nazir Ahmad son of Farid Ahmad Bimla resident of Sundbrari, Kokernag while walking by a channel slipped and drowned. Locals there tried to rescue him but failed to save his life, reports reaching KNO said. A police official while confirming the incident said that case has been registered in this regard and the investigation has been initiated.(KNO)
